The Center of Prenatal Diagnostics s.r.o. and Intes Poprad, s.r.o. (authorized distributor of General Electric Healthcare) organize the first VISUS course in Slovakia based on the well known model used in many countries. The course is intended mainly for Gynecologists- sonographers who would like to fully use the potential of their 3D/4D USG device. In everyday practice we face three dimensional anatomies, pathology of structures and for this reason examination with 3D/4D ultrasound device shifts us closer to reality. All of us know from the PC usage, how hard it is to acquire the adequate knowledge and practice of computer programs though the guides study. Mainly for this reason the VISUS course is structured the way that the theoretical lecture continues with practical part, using a real patent and than the course participants individually work at 4 USG machines under supervision of GE application specialists.
The Visus course in this format fundamentally shorten the „learning curve“and enhance the effective usage of USG machines since 1996.
