Dr. Edwin QUARELLO (MD,PhD) is a senior consultant in obstetrics and fetal medicine and the head of the department of obstetrics - gynecology - ART at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marseille. He has developed a particular interest in ultrasound technologies, twin pregnancies, and fetal cardiology. Recently, he has been involved in the development of tele-expertise in obstetrical ultrasound and the use of artificial intelligence in the field of perinatality.
Since completing a clinical fellowship in Fetal Cardiology in 2007 with Prof. J.S Carvalho (London), he has been committed to expanding the use of fetal echocardiography in early pregnancy and particularly in low-risk populations.
Edwin has co-authored over 80 articles in the English peer review literature and several chapters and books.
